Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Plumber Superintendent to oversee plumbing projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in supervising plumbing installations, managing project timelines, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a leadership position that requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team of skilled plumbers.

Duties

• Supervise and manage plumbing crews on-site to ensure all work is performed according to plans, specifications, and local codes.

• Coordinate daily activities on the job site, including scheduling labor, materials, and equipment.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, plumbing codes, and company policies.

• Review project plans and blueprints, identifying any potential issues or changes needed during the installation.

• Oversee quality control, conducting inspections and verifying that plumbing installations meet the required standards.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including time sheets, work logs, and daily reports.

• Liaise with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.

• Resolve on-site issues efficiently, offering solutions to challenges as they arise.

• Ensure proper inventory management and coordinate material procurement as needed.

Experience

• Journeyman Plumber License required (Master Plumber license preferred).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a plumber, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs) as needed.

• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
